Summer Is Fun

We have varied interests, preferences, learning profile and talents.
We worked using all the ways we could express our understanding.
Sometimes we asked our teachers for help!
"Just know that it is enough sometimes to know
that it is difficult."
Sometimes it was really hard for us to answer the questions!

We had opportunities for socialization and interaction!
We were real participants in the activities our teachers prepared for us!

The Chinese Dragon: a Symbol of Strength and Power
In Chinese lore, the dragon was a benevolent creature with powers to bring rain, floods, and even hurricanes to a land. Along with this ability, the dragon signified power, strength, and good luck. Starting in the Han Dynasty (206 BC – 220 AD), Emperors took on the symbolism of the Dragon as they hoped to bring good fortune to their lands.

The Land of the Rising Sun

This fairy tale land combines rich culture, jaw-dropping landscapes and extraordinary people with an incredible sense of progression into one civilization that has amazed the world.

The diversity of this land is fascinating.

Japan is one of the few places where you can truly see the glimpse of past generations .
Japan's maintained its traditions while becoming one of the most technologically-advanced countries in the world

Japanese Art of Flower Arrangement

Ikebana
It is more than simply putting flowers in a container. It is a disciplined art form in which the arrangement is a living thing where nature and humanity are brought together. It is steeped in the philosophy of developing a closeness with nature.

It helped us to live "in the moment" and to appreciate things in nature that previously had seemed insignificant.

Origami Workshop

According to Japanese legend, if you fold 1000 origami cranes, you will be granted a wish. But lets start with just one!
Most people know of the 1000 cranes tradition through the tragic story of the little girl Sadako, who developed Leukaemia from the atomic bomb blast in Hiroshima in World War II. She began making her 1000 cranes in her hospital bed, but sadly died before completing them. But her classmates finished the 1000 for her after her death at age 12. This sad story has made the 1000 cranes a symbol for world peace.

SMALL-GROUP DISCUSSIONS

It was an excellent way to give each student an opportunity to speak English free without any fair.
We created!
We developed our talents!
Discussion helped us to develop our cognitive activity, our culture of the language.
It generated our awareness to solve the problem, created a culture of creative operational thinking, created conditions for the use of personal experience and knowledge obtained earlier for learning new ones.

We also learnt to listen to the speaker without interruption, to share our ideas and thoughts with a whole class.

Welcome to the Crufts 2016

Crufts is an umbrella term for an international canine event held annually in the UK.
Crufts consists of several competitions occurring at the same time. The main competition is for the Best in Show award, which is hotly contested by dogs and their owners throughout the world.
We had a great time at our "Crufts 2016"

In 2016 we commemorate 400 years since the death of William Shakespeare.

This special anniversary year was a truly unique opportunity to visit his home town Stratford-upon-Avon
Why does the Queen have two birthdays?
